15 Jul Our 5 Top Apps for Small Business

Smart phones and mobile devices are almost essential to our lifestyle. We can do almost anything on our phones from accessing our bank accounts and depositing checks to counting calories for our health. It goes even further you can practically run a small business from your phone. With the many apps available you can process credit card transactions for virtually any product or service you might offer, track orders, send emails, take meeting notes and never forget an important event. As small business owners ourselves we know how important it is to be on top of our business even when out of the office. So our phones and mobile devices have become our virtual office away from the office. We are always trying out new apps to see which best suits our business and keep us in contact with our clients. Today we want to share our favorite apps for small businesses.

Evernote – This app is your own personal note keeper. Have an idea while driving but can’t write it down no worries just make a voice note. Evernote allows you to create notebooks for your clients, organize, track, and share your notes. You can even set a reminder for your notes to make sure you won’t forget an important event or deadline.

LinkedIn – Find and stay connected with over 160+million users worldwide. You can get up to date industry news, stay connected with your group and even share news. You can also sync your calendar and get profile information of prospective clients before you meet.

Google Analytics – The mobile version of this app is almost as similar as the desktop version. However if you have a web business you can track your traffic even on vacation.

Quickbooks 2013 – This app allows you to sync invoice, expenses and estimates across your phone. Quickbooks prides itself on being easy to use and understand and they have added better navigation panel to improve speed and usability.

Instapaper – If you are like me, then you come across lots of articles on a daily bases. At times you can’t read them right away. With Instapaper you can save the articles now and read later. There is no need for Wifi or 4G since the articles are saved offline and can be read virtually anywhere even up in the air.

These are some of the apps we currently use to run our small business, some are free. However, some are paid apps but are under $5.00 each they make running our business easier.
